WHAT IF… fe2 was about speedrunning/momentum instead of parkour?
Basically a huge revamp update id think would be interesting to see.
Flow : If you jump as soon you meet the ledge of a platform (aka, as soon you were going to fall off the platform) gain a stack of rhythm. Giving a variety of small buffs. These buffs stack and cap out at 6. Some moves and stage mechanics give rhythm. Touching a wall on land/air kills all momentum.
Exact details of buffs.
Adds 1 bonus speed to sprint.
Dive makes you fall a bit faster.
You jump off of wall-jump pads faster.
Escapist : movement speed is increased from 16 to 21.
(basically nothing changes, thats how fast you go in vanilla FE2.)
Movement : W/A/S/D
Jump/Swim up : Space
”Jump to traverse obstacles on land.”
E + land = slide
“Slide under obstacles and tight spaces.”
Shift : Sprint
“Increases your movement speed in and out of water from 21 to 24.”
Space, swim up
“Swim up and out of the water you’re currently swimming in. Popping out of the water makes you unable to lose momentum for a second.”
E, swim down
“Dive deeper into the water you’re currently swimming in.”
E + ledge = vault
”If you are running into a wall and tap E you’ll grab onto it and jump on top of it, gaining a bit of hight. Cannot lose momentum while airborne by this move.”
E + air = Dive : “Pressing E while your airborne you'll swan dive. Resulting in you falling faster than usual. If you land on the ground you'll roll and get back on your feet, gaining a bit of momentum if you fell from high enough. If you touch a body of water you’ll go deeper in the water than you would’ve otherwise if you didn't do anything.”
Wall-jump + E = bounce off : “If you press E while on a wall jump pad you will bounce off towards your camera direction. You can’t jump onto the same wall jump you used ‘bounce off’ on.”
NEW STAGE MECHANICS
”Swing poles protrude from the wall and have a red outline. touching these will make you hang onto them. while hanging from a pole, you can swing yourself up or forward with S and W. Makes you fly farther if you have more momentum.”
”These are special edges with a green orb on where you’re supposed to grab. Touching the orb will make you hang onto it. You can move across the ledge you are hanging on freely with A or D. Kills all momentum.”
”these are added so when a player touches them they are invincible and see a cutscene the developer made. Invincibility lasts for the amount of time the cutscene will take.”
“If you touch something with this property, you wont lose any momentum. These are basically so you wont destroy your speed by accidentally flying into the roof with trusses or vault.
If this theoretical fanmade update was added, wall-jump would build a stack of momentum as a reward for climbing up the wall jump so fast.
Zip-lines would stop momentum gain/loss entirely for how long you would hang onto the Zip-line.
Slide sections won’t do anything special.
Just a small what if. If this was added it would probably obliterate the very balance of every map. Ever.

Searched everywhere,didn't find a result.The only thing i know about it is that its more than 16.

Straight foward here is the map article if you would like to play it;
Yeah I made an update to this almost a year old map, increasing difficulty till Crazy+ and adding much more variety to the gameplay instead of always jumping from platform to platform.
I am not sure if people remember who I am due to my heavy inactivity here since of like 6 months I think??
Most things on the update are gameplay improvements, which I will mention in the log, but also detail improvements since of V2 (Aka first revamp).
Onion platforms are bigger now.
End of the tower fits more to the entrance of the water room.
Added WAY more walljump platforming on the tower.
Added time delay extensions on the first tower level.
Removed jump-spam walljump on the iceberg room. (Replaced with a wall jump sliding to the left).
Centered some platforms.
Replaced killing-script blocks with lava and a slide/obstacle.
Replaced box obstacles from second-to-last room with a more advanced gameplay, also replaced it's kill brick with lava.
Added a last room significating poison, which has a zipline and some wall jumps.
Removed "what a weird dream sign" by the end.
Other things added are minor changes or patches.

I'm a little bored but I'll make it clear. I see there are over a thousand pages, yes. You already know I'm here but still. So what we might also be able to do is create articles like ideas, help, fan games, equipment submissions and so on. So we can create a new top from 1000 to 2000. And again, detail the templates.
I think this is a good situation to do, also to get more information. More featured people arrive there to edit and build the wiki.
