Currency is the money in Flood Escape 2. There are two types of currencies used in Flood Escape 2: coins and gems. Gems are worth more than coins, and harder to earn.
Coins
Coins are the normal currency that you can obtain with Robux or just playing the game. With the Vip Gamepass every 100 XP will grant you 2 coins (rounded up). Without the VIP gamepass, you can earn coins by pressing buttons.
Uses
You can use coins to buy Tanks, Buddies, Emotes, Skins, Auras, and to use the Pro Lock.
Gems
Gems are a special currency that you can obtain by buying them with Robux, leveling up, or playing normally if you have the VIP gamepass.
Each level up will award you with 5 gems, and if you have the VIP gamepass, every 100 XP you earn you will receive 1 gem (rounded down).
The maximum amount of gems you can get from leveling up is 495 gems without rebirthing.
The maximum amount of gems you can earn from leveling up is 5495 gems (with rebirthing).
Uses
You can use Gems, and Coins to change the next 3 maps into Insane Maps or Crazy Maps for the cost of 10 Gems (Note: Insane maps are selected randomly, not picked by the player who locked the lift). That is called Pro Locking. You can also use coins and gems to buy Tanks, Buddies, Emotes, Skins, and Auras (Trails).
