Oriental Grove is a community-made Normal Map created by Awesom3_Eric. It has a total of 8 buttons (7 normal & 1 group), a star rating of 2.2, and is playable in Flood Escape 2.

Design

As its name states, is located in a lush and spacious grove. You can see several trees, shrubs, wooden fences and more. The jumps are fairly easy, suitable for a beginner player who has started to get the hang of things in the game. There are many ladders, boxes, and boards that have the same 'Wood Plank' texture. On the walls are several metallic plates with a symbol on it. The exit is located in a door in the wall, which is blocked by a stone wall, which can only open once the last button is pressed.

Trivia

  • Oriental Grove is considered by many in the community to be one of, if not, the easiest Normal map in the game, as reflected by its low star rating.
  • In this map, the Water turns to Acid quickly which will soon turn to Lava, killing really slow players.
  • There are many invisible blocks scattered around the map, including the right ledge near the 7th button.
  • There were much more trees when it was still in FE2 Map Test but got reduced when it got added to the game. A version of this map can be played here.
  • The trees in this map were taken from a Roblox starter place titled 'Pirate Island'.
  • When High Detail Mode is turned off in this map, all of the trees will disappear.
  • The bridge after the fifth button will collapse when the acid reaches a certain height.
  • There was formerly a bug where half of the Acid/Lava disappears once the Acid reaches the top of the second area.
    • This has now been fixed.
  • If a Rescue Mission is activated on this map, the escapee will be located on a platform by the path to the sixth button.
  • During a Lost Page Map Event, the Lost Page will be found behind a pile of boxes near the large stone wall that blocks the area of the exit region.
