Amnesia is a community-made Insane map created by Shortroundzach & Xcesaro10X. It has 6 Buttons and is currently playable in FE2 Community Maps.
Design
The map’s design resembles Beneath the Ruins, Flood Escape, and Familiar Ruins. It is a bit larger than BTR. Amnesia’s parkour are quite easy except the slow~medium speed lava can kill you if you aren’t fast enough.
The first room resembles FE1’s medium difficulty map, Elevator Machine Broke. You have to press all buttons in this room to open the vent.
The second room contains just parkour that you have to jump late, otherwise you will fall and get killed by lava. After you do all the parkour, you will go to the vent that exactly looks like Beneath The Ruins’ vents and structure.
The third room resembles the Training Facility, it has boxes and planks blocking the way (not required to go through it) and rusty pipes that have been rusted by most notably lava. It also plays the low pitch version of the Training Facility song.
The fourth room is the Flood Gauntlet, it is simple to get past through, just press the 5th button then go to the Singleplayer room that’ll open slowly. Then go to the lift then it’ll be stopped for a few seconds as it’ll crash beneath the floor to do more parkour.
The fifth room (including the final room) is the Training Facility once again, but you’ll be there for a short time when you pressed the 6th button. After that you’ll go to the wall that has a hole. The parkour is similar to Beneath The Ruins but longer time to pass.
In the end, you will see the sign that says “BTR themed maps are overused”.
Trivia
- When you press the 5th button, the water in the Flood Gauntlet will rise quickly.
- This map plays Beneath the Ruins’ OST, but vocals are removed.
