Flood Escape 2 Wiki

Lava is the third and most dangerous liquid in Flood Escape 2, which poses a serious threat to the player. If a player's head touches this substance, it will instantly kill them.

Appearance

In Flood Escape 2, lava is usually red or orange in color, and there are two most commonly used textures: Granite and Magma. Granite is the plain marbled red slightly transparent liquid. This form can be seen in many maps, such as Oriental Grove and Abandoned Facility. Magma is black with glowing cracks, similar lava that is found from volcanoes in real life. This type can be found in many maps, such as Lava Tower and Dark Sci-Facility.

Do note that lava isn't limited to these appearances. Many community-made maps have different textures and colors used for lava. Examples of this are Northern Workshop (Blue Magma) and Satomi Springs (Wavy Lava).

Information

Lava kills the player upon contact with their head. This will serve as the main threat in most harder difficulty maps, as one small mistake can end the player's progress.

In Chill Mode however, the player is able to swim in lava, albeit briefly. Lava drains air at a rate of 75 O2 per second. With Chill Mode's increased oxygen capacity (150), this means a player can survive about 3 seconds in lava (around 6 seconds if they collected an Air Bubble).

Lava Types

  • Hot Reddish Sand - This as well is an unusual liquid that looks like sand, rises like lava, but has different layers, getting more and more opaque as they transverse lower. This can only be found in Sedimentary Temple and Sandswept Ruins. (see sixth photo at Gallery, found below) - The Decal ID is 257528563.
  • Spotty magma V2 - This is a purple-colored and rougher variant of the original spotty magma. This can be found in Poisonous Chasm. (see seventh photo at Gallery, found below) - The Decal ID is 6640492565.

  • Light Blue Magma/Granite - This type of lava takes on a baby blue color, and has the magma texture, although the granite material is visible underneath. It can be found in Decaying Silo. (see fifteenth photo at Gallery, found below)
  • Light Blue Magma - Similar to the previous, this lava has a light blue color. However, it does not use the granite material, and is instead true to the original magma. It is found in Snowy Stronghold and in Decaying Silo's second tower. (see sixteenth photo at Gallery, found below)
  • Fuchsia Granite - This lava is a light purplish-red lava with the Roblox granite material. This can only be found in Rustic Jungle. (see seventeenth photo at Gallery, found below)
